Golf Scrambles and Lunch

The person in charge will be listed each month on the Web.
You must sign up at Palmer’s Restaurant following our monthly golf scramble or at our
monthly meeting, by the response date. You must check your tee-time and the golf course  
by telephone at 753-4653 or online  Subscribers to thevillages.net. have access on the
Wednesday prior to the Saturday event.
Late sign-ups used as a substitute when needed.
If you must cancel your tee-time call the person in charge for that month
Event will be a 4 person scramble. Each participant’s drive must be used at least once.
Men tee from back or middle tee, women may choose any. If possible two carts per
foursome will be scheduled.
Meet at Palmer’s restaurant at 11:30 after the event

month at a different restaurant volunteers ,to help coordinate this activity, are needed!


Movies & Dinner

We meet once a month in the theater lobby ½ hour prior to the movie first Sunday of each
month. The selected movie & date are posted on this Web Site and on the sign up sheet at  
monthly meetings. Check the Daily Sun to confirm time, as it sometimes changes.
Call Pat before noon the day before the movie to confirm if you are dining with group.
The restaurant is chosen depending upon the number of people.

Casual Walking, Sumter Landing

Meet outside of the Veranda Restaurant
, start walking at 9:00 AM sharp.
We walk around the exterior of Sumter Landing (2.5 miles) for approximately 45 minutes  
Everyone walks at his/her own pace.  After the walk, most participants have brunch at the
Veranda Restaurant.  Friends and relatives are welcome.  No sign-up necessary.

Lake Miona Recreation Center. Play a favorite game or learn a new one in a fun, non-
competitive atmosphere. Teach or learn a new game.  BYOB


Pickleball

Played on Mondays and Fridays from 3  - 5 PM at  the Pimlico Recreation Center and at
Saddlebrook on Wednesdays from 3 - 5 PM. This active and fun-loving group  goes to
dinner after Pickleball on Fridays to a restaurant of the group's choice.  
It is recommended that new players take Pickleball lessons available  from the Villages Rec.
Department before  participating.  There is no need, however, to be a "seasoned" player.

Impromptu Walking and Impromptu Golf
Seeking 2 co-chair persons

The participants of these activities will work from a shared list of names
(one list for walking and one for golf) The lists will include your name, phone number,
Village  and email address. When a participant wishes to either walk or golf on the spur of
the moment, he/she will use their copy of the "shared list" and form a group to do so. If you
wish  to be a part of these activities, sign up at the next meeting.
